MAGNETIC BOOKMARKS

Do you know what a magnetic bookmark is? These are a big hit at local craft shows... but only AFTER a customer learns how a magnetic bookmark works (see illustration)

Each magnetic bookmark is of sturdy cardstock with a small rectangle magnet attached to the inner sides of both front and back. The bookmark folds over and surrounds the edge of a page or pages (top or side), snaps in place with a firm hold by magnetizing through the page. The magnets securely hold the bookmark in place to prevent slippage – it will not fall out of your book or magazine. It has a great staying power and is a pretty addition to any book.

Many bookmarks have a Nature picture printed from a photo lab on Supreme Matte Finish Photo Paper that has a fingerprint-resistant finish. The results are vibrant photo lab quality. The photo is adhered with an acid-free glue to DCWV cardstock (mostly textured)...Brights, Neutrals, Pastels, which is acid- and lignin-free.

All photos, used on bookmarks, are matched to a complimentary colored cardstock and can vary among orders. It is amazing how a cardstock color can bring out highlights in a picture. All photos were taken by Joyce.

For our Christmas and other bookmarks that are not from nature photos - Each bookmark has a graphic picture printed from a photo lab on Supreme Matte Finish Photo Paper also that is resistant to finger prints.

The bookmark measures approximately 2" x 6".

Traditionally a bookmark is placed vertically, close to the inside, bound-edge of a book. Yet if you want to remember where you will once again read after a break, a place on the page can be marked by using the bookmark horizontally - right where you want it... perfect for the books you are reading on a trip or being interrupted various times. This “placemarker” remains in place regardless of the orientation of the book or a book’s accidental fall to the floor or ground.

If you would rather have three of the same front, we are happy to customize your order. You would have to let us know what number in what set and whatever color of cardstock. This is at no additional cost.

What a great idea for a GIFT to someone who likes to read books or magazines. You can easily include this bookmark in a greeting card that is close to 6 inches in one direction. Any personal message can be written on the back or the two insides.

We have started a Christmas selection of bookmarks that can be ordered in bulk for anyone to include them with their greeting cards. There is a cutoff date of December 12th for any large order so that we can get them made in time to have the buyer receive them by one week before Christmas.
